ABOUT

Cole Connor is an American recording artist, filmmaker and entrepreneur from South Carolina, currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. As an artist, owner of photo/video powerhouse, Apollo's Bow and host of the Creative Survival Guide, Cole not only builds businesses but uses his entrepreneurial success to teach, create and help people to OWN THEIR DREAM.


EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION

Born in Florence, South Carolina, Cole was raised in the small rural town of Dalzell on the outskirts of Sumter, South Carolina where he attended Wilson Hall School. He spent most of his childhood getting lost in the outdoors, sports, books and his own writings. After graduation high school, Cole attended Clemson University as well as USC Sumter and USC Columbia. He changed majors from communications, engineering to business before dropping out completely to pursue music and business.

Career

MUSIC

In 2014 and 2015, as a part of the hip-hop collective New Success Culture, Cole contributed to two highly-acclaimed albums, New Success and More Success. In 2016 under Czar Records, he also released one of the FreeTimes' top SC albums of 2016, SODA. It was also featured on popular music blog, DJBooth.

Cole has performed at SXSW, Spartanburg Spring Fling and Love, Peace & Hip-Hop festivals as well as opened for artists such as Ghostface, Mobb Deep, KRS One, Kid-N-Play, Slick Rick and Jack & Jack.

Cole released 5 singles from 2018 to 2019 in Own, Root, Out Da Blu, Noseeum and No Niche.

Cole released the Pointless EP on September 30th, 2020 with 6 new songs.

In July 2021, Cole announced the release of single, Winedrunk on July 30th.

As of 2022, Cole is working on a full-length album with the first single being Revenge ft. Master Splnta.

BUSINESS

In 2016, after working as a server, pizza delivery driver and part-time social media strategist for a Columbia based PR firm, Cole founded Apollo's Bow Strategies, a marketing agency with a niche in real estate. By 2018, he split Apollo's Bow Strategies into two companies, Apollo's Bow & Bow Real Estate.

Apollo's Bow focuses on visual marketing for all things outside of real estate while Bow Real Estate spread across the Columbia real estate market. In 2019, BRE grew to service SC, NC and GA with real estate marketing of any kind.

In 2020, Cole launched Bow Beaufort & Cole Connor Photography expanding his entrepreneurship to the low country.

In 2021, Cole launched the Creative Survival Guide, a course and coaching program designed to help creatives go from starving artist to creative entrepreneur.

After moving to Los Angeles in late 2021, Cole launched Bow Los Angeles and continued to grow CSG and Apollo's Bow.

MEDIA / FILM

Cole launched his YouTube Channel in 2018 along with vlogs, educational content, music, reviews podcasts and mini-series.

In 2018, Cole appeared as an extra in the film, First Man.

In 2019, Cole played the lead role of Chase in the short film CHASE by Patrick Rutledge. He also played a small role in SC based film, Party Hard directed by Nick Clay, now streaming on Amazon.

In 2020, Cole started the Cole Connor Podcast (later rebranded the No Niche Podcast) featuring guests from all walks of life with his goal being to have authentic conversations.


In 2022, Cole played a small role in indie film, 20 In A Pack while attending acting classes to work on his craft.
